Advanced Ice Rescue Scenarios (AIR)

This 1-day course provides experienced rescuers challenging scenarios, from simple to complex and everything in between. Our scenarios are run from initial dispatch to transfer of care to EMS, ensuring students consider every element that attributes to a successful rescue. We highly recommend this course following our initial Ice Rescue Technician course and/or members with strong personal and team skills in the ice environment.

Note: For organizations wishing to conduct Advanced Ice Rescue training on rivers with flowing ice, open leads, ice jams or ice dams a Swiftwater Technician certification (SRT) will be a prerequisite.
